Pole Saws

Shop SENIX pole saws for trimming reachable overhead branches while standing on stable ground. Compare reach, bar size, balance, tool weight, and cordless runtime for residential tree care.

When a Pole Saw Is the Right Tool

A pole saw is designed for rated elevated branches, not for cutting from a ladder or replacing professional tree work. Use the shortest extension that reaches the cut, maintain a balanced stance, and stay outside the branch's fall path.

Reach and Cutting Capacity

Total advertised reach can include operator height and varies by model. Review the tool specification and manual, then choose a branch well within the rated cutting capacity. More extension can increase leverage and fatigue, so balance matters as much as reach.

Pole Saw vs. Chainsaw

Choose a pole saw for overhead pruning and a chainsaw for supported ground-level wood. Our chainsaw vs. pole saw guide compares tasks, reach, power sources, and safety.

Cordless Pole Saw Benefits

Cordless models provide push-button starting and lower routine maintenance. Consider complete tool weight at full extension, battery capacity, and whether the battery works with other yard tools you own.

Pole Saw FAQ

Can I use a pole saw from a ladder?

No. Operate from stable ground and follow the tool manual.

Can a pole saw cut logs?

It is designed for elevated pruning. A chainsaw is generally more controlled for supported logs at ground level.

Can I trim near power lines?

No. Keep well away from electrical conductors and contact the utility or a qualified arborist.

I decided to buy this brand again after I bought the Senix blower back in the fall. I really liked the blower and the trimmer has been great too. Easy to use and lightweight.

I bought the Senix chain saw after I bought their pole saw, which I have reviewed with the same headline. Bottom line, its runs and cuts nicely, and has a nice price point. It also uses the same battery as the pole saw, so I have a back up for both.

I love the fact it doesn't need fuel mix. Just straight up gasoline. Plenty of umph and starts with ease every time even on cold days. Garage, driveway, back yard, truck bed...all get the blast and results are immediate!

So far so good with this battery. I use it on the Senix battery operated pole saw. The charge seems to last quite a while.
